Legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba was on hand to dazzle housemates of the BBNaija Season IV reality TV show on Thursday.

2Baba, real name Innocent idibia, was the surprise guest of the 10 remaining Housemates, and it proved to be a masterstroke by Big Brother as the housemates were completely swept off their feet.

From the Head of House of the week, Elozonam, his love interest Diane, Tacha, Mike Seyi, Omashola, Ike, Cindy, Mercy and Frodd, the visibly elated housemates wished the legendary singer/songwriter and record producer a happy birthday.

In his typical relaxed manner, 2Baba, in the company of some of associates including hit maker Larry Gaga, asked the HMs to give a shout out to his wife, Annie – something they all did with gusto.

The 44-year-old legend enjoined the housemates never to quit in anything they do, but warned that as individuals, they must choose their battles wisely. He also seized the opportunity to announce the launch of his customized headphones later this year.

To spice up the day, Big Brother was at his magnanimous best as he had a live band set up to play a mishmash of some of Tuface’s greatest hits.

A lyrics challenge followed, and while the housemates could vibe to the song, only Seyi and Tacha showed a mastery of the timeless lyrics of Tuface’s songs.

A cake was cut in the celebrant’s honour while the housemates were treated to dinner with royalty, with some of Naija’s greatest hits playing in the background.
